On the internet, last night I found a posting on the Yahoo group Sharing & Giving that had a lot of interest for me. A woman was giving away some cake pans & cake decorating things. Contacted her & made arrangements to pick them up this morning at her house. I was completely blown away when I got there. It was a lot more stuff than I ever imagined I would receive. Virginia’s generosity is really appreciated & will be a tremendous boon to me.
Cake pans & container full of gel colors
She had a complete set of 8-inch, 12-inch and 14-inch round pans. The large book pan, the cross & the ball pan were in the collection. Tips, bags, colors, & flower formers were part of it. It is an amazing amount of stuff & will be put to good use by me. You would be bored if I listed all of it, but I will enjoy using it.

If you don’t cook or bake as much as you did formerly, may I suggest you follow Virginia’s example. Somebody in your area would love to have the things you no longer need. Kitchen things are so very expensive & a gift to someone of your castoffs would make somebody’s day. I know. Cause it made my day. Thank you Virginia!
Another part of the treasure trove
This post was mostly written in the third week of February. Jim’s health became a grave concern & I could not concentrate on finishing it. I finally got back to it April 3 and finalized it. Hopefully the grammar & spelling is not too atrocious as I still have problems concentrating.
